endo
ENDO|end-of-contract, a term that temporary workers call their last working day when their employment run ends. Endo is a love story intelligently told without leaning much to the usual cheesy formula or to an overdone storytelling. The film shows how romance can be as disposable as jobs in the deprived social environment. But Endo is more than a love story. The brilliance of the film is that it manages to express a thought about our society in an elusive way. The mentality shaped in the employment system supplies a significant detail that turns into a story of family, friends and love. The movie's cleverly-written characters were well-carried with significant emotions without stretching into an overdirected drama. Both compelling leads were impressive as the wonderful writing was acted out naturally, likewise their brilliance were enough to express the wordless moments in the film. It's a love story that is nicely delivered without becoming too cheesy and pathetic. Endo is a well-crafted narrative work set in the deprived world of temporary labor that would still appeal to all social groups and to the masses alike.
